Museum itself brilliant
Although I have to make a complaint about one of the staff members. Today I visited with my family I'm heavily pregnant almost about to drop in fact. I was seated at the cafe with my partner and 2 year old and my 6 year old was with us also. My 6 year old wanted to quickly go over to two of the stamps to stamp her card ( they get a small card to stamp whilst you reach certain parts of the museum and its almost like a token to take if you wish) I could see her from my view and she had asked our permission to go over which we were okay with. After a couple of minutes not even about 3 to be precise , the staff member walks her back i could see them having a conversation that looked some what like my daughter was being told off by the staff members which immediately had my back up as my daughter is disabled and vulnerable to be honest she looked terrified! The staff member brought her over and patronisingly says to us 'She was wandering on her own and should be with adult 'insinuating we were doing nothing i honestly believed she had tried to go upstairs or something even though I know she wouldn't of and I literally seen her less than a minuite before. Honestly we felt so embarrassed and uncomfortable we left straight away. I didn't get her name but she was hovering around everywhere almost looking for someone to moan at and making others feel uncomfortable also as I spoke with another family and we were quite shocked ! I get it was her job to patrol the area , as she was on the information desk at one point abandoning it so she could go off every so often. I'm not too sure what her job role was but to publicly embarrass us like that was disgusting especially when we knew exactly where she was going. Not happy at all and will not be returning

Unless you are really interested in transport etc this may not be for you. My 11yr old found it boring, there was only some small titbits of info he found interesting. My 3yr old loved it though being able to climb and touch. There is a great play area there suitable for her age which was very busy but we did visit during half term so I guess expected.

Very interesting. So many vehicle exhibits to keep children entertained. Made the mistake of going in half term which was so busy you could barely move so wouldn't recommend during busy holidays but I've been told it isn't usually like that!

It was so busy that you couldn't go anywhere or do anything. There are so many museums, I should have gone somewhere else.
Some of the punch machines were broken.
Parents got vicious about getting their little ones photos.
That is not the museum's fault, but that I disagree with is allowing so many people that you cannot move or do anything.
Also, the exhibitions were not well thought out in the logistical sense...
Overall not a great experience...

Had an amazing experience here. Once you buy a ticket, you are able to use it for 1 full year. This is a great experience and had a lot of history that I thought was really cool. It was also a great place to take pictures or even bring family/kids. Also again you can use the ticket up to a whole year so if you went to the local market nearby And needed to use the bathroom you can go back to the museum lol 🚂🚎

Very friendly staff all throughout. Cloakroom attendants were very warm and polite. Loved the poster workshop for children, the lady hosting was incredibly enthusiastic and had the kids engaged.

Incredible museum (even when taking in the balance the pricy tickets)!

Amazing experience - rich history of London transport sympathetically restored to its formal glory .

Más que recomendable si deseas realizar una actividad con niños en Londres. Fuimos con nuestros hijos de 2 y 4 años, y en toda las estaciones disfrutaron como nunca.

Packed full of history and people too. Lots to do and see would recommend. Only bit of advice I would give is plan your visit around less busy times as waiting time and queues to board buses can be long.

Thus was a really good trip for both the children and me. We learnt so much about the buses and the history behind it. It was a fun packed trip
